Greetings! My name is Rene Triay. As a retired airline pilot that is now on Terra Firma, I have chosen to continue pursuing my passion in photography that dates back to my high school years. Thanks for the explanation Rene. It truly is a wonderful image and one I have added to my favorites.

Hi Karen, I thank you for your wonderful comments and support. Regarding what you wrote about my placing the "rust" on the trees on the left of the image, I can assure you those colors were there. I only desaturated the rest of the colors in the image to make the trees pop out in the image. Please hurry back.

I cannot pass a photo of a lone tree! I find something about their presence has an air of strength as they withstand the elements alone. The tree overlooks the community seen in the distance. I love how you placed the tinges of greens and rust on the trees in a grey image. Very nice!
