Description
Normally referred to as the "BONE", the Rockwell B-1 bomber was built for the US Air Force as a supersonic variable-sweep wing heavy bomber. The variable sweep wing design allows the flexibility of supersonic and slow flight. Please check out the different sweep of the wings in the images I posted. Shown here, the aircraft is flying at a relatively fast speed as the wings are partially retracted.
