I love seeing your aviation images and this one is majestic! I spent most of my life in Charleston SC and lived across the river from the Air Base in the last years I was there and occasionally they would use a flight path over my neighborhood. The C-141 Starlifter was based there and we could tell that was coming in by the high whine it made. Then they were replace with the C-17 Globemaster and I fell in love with the design of that plane. It was so large and graceful (and much quieter!). I loved seeing them when they flew in squadrons around Charleston. Now that we live at the other end of the state in the mountains, I miss them.

Bellesouth Studio, Thank you for explaining and expanding reference the time you lived across from the Charleston Airbase. I truly enjoyed reading all about your experience. Sometimes we dislike aircraft noise, but what a wonderful experience watching on a regular basis those great patriots flying their huge flying machines... I also want to thank you for your wonderful comments regarding my work and your continued support. Please stay tuned as aviation is my first love in life. And yes, I will continue to post more and more work relating the subject. May God Bless!
